Job Description

  • Perform massage, body and facial treatments while maintaining the client's comfort at all times.
  • Ensure individualized guest service through acknowledging and responding to their needs and expectation.
  • Maintain a clean and neat work environment at all times, ensuring all equipment is in safe working order.
  • Actively participate in all areas of the Spa operation.
  • Assist guests regarding hotel facilities in an informative and helpful way.
  • Assist as Spa Reception when required.
  • Follow department policies and procedures.
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years experience in a spa or massage environment desirable. Applications welcome from confident and passionate therapists, even with less than 2 years experience.
  • Excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong desire to be part of a united team and community.
  • Excellent attention to detail, as well as impeccable grooming and presentation.
  • Excellent time management skills & ability to adapt & personalize treatments to guest's concerns.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and great problem solving skills.
  • Use initiative and proactive and positive attitude to assist team members to ensure operations run smoothly.
  • Language skills (English, Japanese, Mandarin and other language skills desirable).
  • Ability to take part in the local community, be respected and trusted by community stakeholders
  • Physically capable of handling a full schedule of appointments in a day.

Job Particulars
Pay Rate

  • ¥2,000 - ¥2,850 per hour - Varies based on experience, treatments you can give, and language ability.
  • 25% overtime allowance for hours worked above prescribed working hours for the month.
  • 25% late night allowance for work between 10pm and 5am.

Employment Period

  • November 2025 - March 2026.
  • Shorter term contracts available.
  • Fully paid training at the start of the season.

Hours

  • Generally, 5 days per week, around 40 hours per week.
  • Part time contracts available.
  • Hours will vary through the season depending on business levels with less hours at the start and end of the season and occasional overtime during peak periods.

About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic, passionate and motivated Remedial Massage therapist or Myotherapist that is able to help treat our patients suffering from a wide range of musculoskeletal complaints.

  • Commencement date: December 2025, January/February 2026 (start date negotiable)
  • Hours and days are negotiable (although must be able to work Saturdays) 
  • Candidates must be available for a minimum of 16-24 hours per week
