University of Newcastle
The University of Newcastle’s research will examine Traditional, Complementary and/or Alternative Medicine as a means of supporting mental or psychological wellbeing. The use and practice of Traditional, Complementary and/or Alternative Medicine to support mental or psychological wellbeing is a potentially widespread phenomenon about which little is currently known. This research project aims to address this knowledge gap. The University is seeking people who both practice and use Traditional, Complementary and/or Alternative Medicine to support their own mental wellbeing.

Health Fund Providers Reminder
The following is not a NEW Requirement but a reminder to remain compliant with Provider Health Fund Agreements.
Providers who allow their Insurance, First Aid, Accredited Fit and Proper Person Stat Dec, All Member Police Check (NPC), Working With Children/Vulnerable Persons Check (WWCC/WWVP), CPD/E Points and/or Member Subscriptions lapse, may have their Provider status suspended without notice by the Health Funds until their files are made compliant with Health Fund requirements. Provider numbers can take up to 12 weeks to be restored. To avoid disruption to your business, please renew on or before Renewal Dates. Remember to send in copies of evidence of renewal to the office@maa.org.au so records can be updated.

BUPA will notify the MAA Office of members provider numbers. MAA will then send an email to you advising you of your new providers numbers. This usually takes 7-10 days.
Provider numbers for all other Health Funds are as per instructions in the "Health Fund Companies Information" provided in your Accredited Members pack.
