Course Name: What is truly best practice for acute back pain? And why some of us don’t want to hear the truth? - With James Schomburgk, Wed 29th May 2024, 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm AEST

Relevance: All members.

Description: In this webinar, I will delve into the realm of interventions for acute low back pain, separating those supported by scientific validity from those lacking evidence or potentially harmful despite frequent prescription. I'll unveil findings that clinicians may find uncomfortable but crucial to confront. My aim is to bridge the gap between scientific evidence and its practical application at the frontline of treating individuals grappling with acute back pain.

The module has been developed by the Australian Regional Health Group (ARHG)*, with specialist input and review from private health funds.

Online and in your own time, you will learn about:

  • the two types of private health insurance audits you might be subject to and why
  • what the audit process involves, and
  • the possible outcomes of an audit.

Most importantly, you will learn the practices you can put in place to ensure you comply with private health insurance regulations.

This course will leave you confident, compliant, and free to focus on what you do best – help your patients feel better.

The module is delivered through ARHG’s online training platform, QualiPHI. For more information and to register, visit the QualiPHI website.
